licensed civil and structural engineer, student of astrophysics, biophysics, biochemistry, structural engineering technology, I believe that the U.S. Constitution as it is written now must be re-instated as the supreme law of the land, and that the Constitution can return this country to peace, prosperity, and justice, through diligent application of the restraints on the power of government contained in the Constitution.
The Constitution makes clear that the powers given to the federal government are "few and well-defined" while powers retained by the states and the people are "many, diffuse, and general." The over arching de-facto transfer of power from the legislative and judicial branches to the executive branch is not Constitutional and should not be tolerated.
The Congress must re-assert its right to make war through declarations of war, in the face of an executive branch which has usurped that Contitutionally defined power, it must re-assert its right to coin money in the face of a private central bank which has usurped many powers of Congress. It must re-assert the validity of the oath that everyone takes when they take office, whether officers of the executive, legislative, judicial branches, or military officers, "to preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States."
